The Lindenwood Women's Tennis team competed in this Weekends USML Invitation in Springfield, Mo. The men's team had the weekend off, but the women's team travelled to Springfield.
 
Doing well for the Lady Lions was Diana Castro, who despite losing her first match, went on to win three consecutive matches to win the consolation portion of the C Singles. Gloria Marras  and Clara Piccamiglio won their first round match in the A singles group, but failed to make it past the second round.
 
Coming up next for the Lady Lions is a home match against McKendree University October 10th, in St. Charles, Mo. This will be Lindenwood's last fall event.
