The Lindenwood women's tennis team picked up a 7-2 victory over Fort Hays on Saturday.
The Lady Lions dropped the first doubles match but fought back in the remaining doubles contests to take a 2-1 lead. Fort Hays took the opening singles match to tie the dual at 2-2 but it was all Lindenwood for the rest of the day.
Clara Piccamiglio held her opponent to just three points in two games and
Mariona Pinol did the same in her match.
Daria Ivanova defeated her opponent 6-4 and 6-2 while
Diana Castro won her match 6-2 and 6-4.
Alexandra Medvedeva dominated her first game 6-1 but struggled in game two and just won 7-5.
The Lady Lions will take on Nebraska-Kearney starting at 10 a.m. on Sunday.
