The Lindenwood women's tennis team defeated Lincoln 8-1 on Tuesday in St. Charles, Mo.
The Lady Lions started off strong with a sweep in doubles competition allowing just one point in the three matches combined.
Gloria Marras was not able to compete in the first singles match resulting in a 1-0 default win for Lincoln. The rest of the day was smooth sailing for Lindenwood including a shutout match by
Mariona Pinol and again by
Alexandra Medvedeva to close out the dual.
Lindenwood will host Washburn on Wednesday in St. Charles, Mo. for a 1 p.m. start.
