Friday night Lindenwood competed in the Principia Relays in Elsah, Ill. The men's and women's track and field teams got an opportunity to compete with teams in the region.

Leading of the Lady Lions was Zori Holman, who tied for second in the finals with 1.6 meters in the high jump.
Kimberly Klenke finished first in pole vault, while
Claire Buckman finished third.
Kendra Smith,
Joy Kanengiser, and
Taylor Gibson finished one, two, and three in the triple jump.
Lindsey Blackwell finished second in the shot put, with a distance of 13.04 meters in the finals and dominated in the weight throw, throwing almost a full meter ahead of the second-place finisher.
Shamela Gray finished third in the 60-meter hurdle, with a time of 8.9 in the finals.
Jennifer Carter and Lindsey Chapa finished 4th and 5th in the 500-meter dash. Lindenwood finished second in the 4x200-meter relay, on that team was
Jerelle Jones, Gray,
Maya Mason, and
Michaela Mason. This same team went on to win the 400-meter relay, with a time of 3:58.588.

On the men's side, Xavier Boland won the pole vault, with a height of 4.57-meters in the finals. Michael Mlambo and Lavorrie Johnson finished one and two in the men's long jump. Deondra Canaday dominated in the shot put, throwing a 16.65-meters. DeAngelo Strickling finished second in the 60-meter dash, with a time of 6.89.
Juwan Cubit finished fourth in the 60-meter dash. The Lions 800-meter relay team finished third, members of the team were:
Colin Cernik, Michael Golian,
Kelvin Lau, and Carlos Rivera. Sprinter
Brannon Wright won the 300-meter dash with a time of 35.28 in the finals.
