Lindenwood concluded its weekend in Jacksonville, Mo. at the Jim Green Invitational, scoring enough points for the men to finish 1st overall out of the 21 competing teams. The women finished 2nd out of the 21 teams.

The Lady Lions scored 131 points, falling just short of the winner, Hasting's 132.
Shamela Gray scored Lindenwood ten points by winning the 200, with a time of 25.46, she went on to score another ten in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.81. Â
Maya Mason scored Lindenwood six points in the 400 with a time of 59.48, while
Michaela Mason followed closely, with a time of 1:00.43, scoring four points.
Jennifer Carter ran the 800 with a time of 2:27.18, scoring four points for the Lady Lions. Lindenwood teamed together a 400-meter relay team of Gray,
Maya Mason,
Michaela Mason, and
Jerelle Jones. They finished with a time of 3:57.02, the second team finished with a time of 4:11.97. Zori Holman finished second in the women's high jump, scoring Lindenwood eight points.
Kendra Smith also scored eight points, but in the long jump, then scored ten more in the triple jump.
Claire Buckman continued the trend of eight points scoring, by almost pulling out the women pole vault.
Lindsey Blackwell continued to show off her skills in the weight throw, scoring ten points for the Lady Lions with a distance of 18.40 meters.

Lindenwood's men's team scored 108 points, finishing with plenty room, with the second place team scoring 73. DeAngelo Stickling won the 60 meter and 200-meter dash, giving the Lions 20 points. The Lions finished with three of the top four finishers in the 60-meter dash, with
Juwan Cubit and
Michael Mlambo being the other two. Cubit finished second in to 200 meter. Brannon wright finished third in the 400 meter, scoring six points for Lindenwood.
Colin Cernik finished second in the one mile run. Wright, Strickling,
Jermaine Unanka, and Cubit all teamed together to dominate the 400-meter relay with a time of 3:21.31. In the throwing events,
Jonathan Harris threw the shot put far enough for second, with a distance of 14.90 meters.
Deondra Canaday finished second in the weight throw, with a distance of 17.08 meters.

Lindenwood now gets ready to head to Columbia, Mo. for the Missouri Collegiate Challenge on February 20th.Â
