Lindenwood's women's tennis team's record fell to 3-5 on the season, when they lost to the visiting Northeastern State RiverHawks. The Lady Lions lost 7-2, scoring two singles victories from
Diana Castro and
Mariona Pinol.
Mariona Pinol battled back to win her match after falling 6-0 in the first set. Pinol would win the final two sets 6-0 and 7-6, scoring Lindenwood a win. Castro scored the first point of her match, then her opponent forfeited, giving Lindenwood its second win of the day.
Coming up for the Lady Lions is a home match against the University of Central Oklahoma on March 28th.Â
