Lindenwood's men's and women's track and field teams traveled to St. Louis, Mo. for the Billiken Invitational. The women's team finished third out of 12 competing team, while the men finished fourth out of 14.

Standing out for the women was Lindsey Chapa, scoring Lindenwood eight points by finishing second in the 400-meter hurdles.
Zori Holman also scored Lindenwood eight by high jumping 1.56 meters.
Claire Buckman continued the eight point trend by finishing second in the pole vault with a height of 3.52 meters.
Kendra Smith and
Joy Kanengiser had a one-two punch in the triple jump, finishing second and third.
Lindsey Blackwell and
Vanessa Cook finished second and third in the shot put, with Blackwell throwing 12.17 meters. Blackwell won the discus throw with a distance of 43.05 meters,
Chelsea Smith and
Vanessa Cook finished second and third. Blackwell also dominated the hammer throw with a distance of 54.68 meters.

Helping the men finish fourth was Jaron Alexander, who ran a 10.97 in the 100-meter finals, good enough for fourth. Alexander also finished fifth in the 200.
Colin Cernik ran a 4:00.26, good enough for third in the 1500.
Xavier Boland finished fourth in the pole vault with a height of 4.28 meters.
Deondra Canaday walked away with a shot put victory after throwing a 16.77 meters in the finals. Canaday finished second in the discus, falling to teammate
Bryan Kertz, who threw for a distance of 49.47 meters. Canaday scored Lindenwood another ten points by throwing a 52.06 in the hammer throw.

Some of Lindenwood's athletes went to the Jim Duncan Invitational to compete in Des Moines, Iowa.
Michael Mlambo led Lindenwood off by finishing second in the 100, with a time of 10.94.
Juwan Cubit finished second in the 200-meter dash with a time of 21.84.

Michaela Mason, and
Jerelle Jones finished third in the 400-meter relay with a time of 3:52.66. The men finished first in the 100-meter relay, with a time of 41.40, the team consisted of Mlambo, Cubit,
Brannon Wright, and Johnson. The men also finished second in the 400-meter relay, which was made up of the same team except
Joshua Newman instead of Johnson. Mlambo continued his impressive day by winning the long jump with a distance of 7.30 meters.
