Lindenwood's women's tennis team travelled to Jefferson City, Mo. to compete against Lincoln University and came away with a 9-0 team win. Lincoln had three forfeits, but only one match even went to a third set, and
Gloria Marras still came away with a 10-6 win in the final set.
Clara Piccamiglio was the next to win after win after Marras, winning 6-0, 6-1.
Daria Ivanova kept the momentum, winning 6-1 in straight sets.
Mariona Pinol continued her winning-streak, extending it to three, with a 6-0, 6-0 win. Marras and Piccamiglio teamed up to win 8-1. Ivanova and Pinol won 8-1 in their doubles match.
The win gives the Lady Lions their second conference victory and fifth total victory of the season. Lindenwood hopes to keep things going in the right direction when they travel to Topeka, Kan. for another MIAA competition against Washburn on April 17th.
