Women's wrestling took one on the chin Thursday night in Lebanon, Illinois losing a dual to McKendree 42-3.
The Bearcats won the 101 lb. division and never looked back as they captured nine of 10 matches overall. Five of those victories came by pin. The lone bright spot was in the 116 lb. contest. Tori Degginger defeated Theresa Rankin to earn the only team points of the night for the Lions.
Lindenwood will have a couple of weeks to rebound before traveling to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma for the Cliff Keen Women's Open October 21-22. Competition begins at 9 a.m. that Friday morning at the Freede Center.
