The Lindenwood track and field teams had their final regular season meet on Friday in Columbia, Mo. at the Missouri Collegiate Challenge.

The Lions finished first in four events, and the Lady Lions had two first-place showings. Lindenwood had 17 top-three showings throughout the competition.

The men captured all of their first-places in running events.
Ero Doce won the 800m,
Omar Es Salmouny took first in the mile, Michael Golian captured the 5000m race, and the 4x400 relay had the fastest time. The relay consisted of
Hunter Drew,
Joshua Newman,
Zach McKinley, and Doce.

Also on the men's side,
Akintunde Akinyemi was runner-up in the high jump. Third-place finishes went to Drew in the 600m,
Colin Cernik in the 800m,
Austin Crowe in the 3,000m, and
Xavier Boland in the pole vault.

On the women's side,
Michelle Kyle won the weight throw event. The 4x400 relay team of
Erin Hodge,
Kendra Smith,
Camry Bradford, and Regina Huesca-Barrales, also took first place.

Hodge also finished second in the 60m hurdles and third in the long jump. Huesca-Barrales was runner-up in the 600m, as was
Anna-Lena Theisen in the 800m, and Smith in the triple jump.
Anna Tyan had a third-place finish in the high jump.

Lindenwood will start postseason play next week at the MIAA Indoor Track and Field Championships in Joplin, Mo.
