The Lindenwood men's tennis team barely lost 5-4 to Rockhurst while the women's team fell 8-1 on Sunday.
On the men's side, the Lions won the doubles portion of the match, collecting victories at No. 1 and 2.
Filip Bogic and
Naoufal El Idrissi picked up a 8-5 win in the top slot while
Michele Gaspari and
Antoine Barraud coasted to an 8-3 victory.

Haya Hamed and
Diana Castro competed in the closest women's doubles match when they got five games at No. 3 and the rest of the matches went to Rockhurst.
Rebeca Aguilar recorded the only win in singles for the Lady Lions when she defeated her opponent 6-4, 6-4 at No. 5. Castro came close at No. 4, but lost in a competitive 7-5, 7-6 match.
Both teams will return to the court when they face Quincy on Tuesday at 2 pm from Lindenwood's tennis courts.
