The chess team earned a pair of top four finishes at the 10^th Annual Metro Saint Louis Class Championship February 17-18 at the Chess Club and Scholastic Center of Saint Louis.

In Class D performance, Blake Jansen finished third with 2.5 points out of a possible four.  Jeffrey Kendall took fourth in the Under 1200 division, taking three out of four points, while Nam Nguyen won 2.5 points and finished seventh.

The chess team will compete at the Saturday Night Special February 24.  Competition begins at 6 p.m. at the Chess Club and Scholastic Center of Saint Louis.
