The chess team concluded its season at the Bill Wright Open April 6-8 at the Chess Club and Scholastic Center of Saint Louis.

The top Lion performers included Jeffrey Kendall and Nam Nguyen, who both finished with 1.5 points out of a maximum possible of five.  Blake Jansen earned one point over the weekend.

The chess team is not graduating anyone this spring, so the entire current roster is expected to return for the 2018-19 season.
