The qualifiers for the 2018 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships were announced this week. Four Lindenwood student-athletes have advanced to the national event.
On the women's side, the qualifiers are
Erin Hodge and
Miya Dorsey. Dorsey is among the favorites in the 400m hurdles after qualifying fourth with a time of 59.19. Hodge will be in the 100m hurdles, and she is ranked eighth with a time of 13.71.
On the men's team, the qualifiers are
Akintunde Akinyemi and
Bumnene Nicanor Ndebele. Akinyemi is the highest ranked qualifier, ranking 12th in the high jump with a 2.11m mark. Ndebele qualified 16th in the triple jump with a 15.29m.
The national championships will take place on May 24-26 in Charlotte, N.C.
