Women's rugby hosted an alumni match for the first time in program history with the current team outlasting the squad of former players 12-5 Saturday afternoon at Hunter Stadium in St. Charles, Missouri.

The undergraduates managed the only try in the first half and converted it for a 7-0 lead at the break.  The alumni earned a hard-fought score in the second half to pull within two points, but the current Lions finished off the contest with try in the final seconds.

Lindenwood travels to Las Vegas for the Vegas Sevens Tournament February 28 through March 2.
