Tristan Stubbs led a group of four shotgun sports team members at the World Fitasc event November 12-15 at the Providence Hill Farm Shooting & Equestrian Complex in Jackson, Mississippi.
The Lindenwood freshman posted a score of 174/200 to win the AA Class in a field of 44 competitors. Sophomore
Sam Korbs followed just three targets behind overall with 171/200, which was good enough for 11th place in the Junior event.Â
Shabaz Bassi hit 148/200 to finish 23rd in the Junior event, and senior
Michael Blazek competed in the Open category and finished with a score of 166/200. Â
The World Fitasc event marked the end of the fall campaign for shotgun sports. The Lions look to return to action when their season restarts in the spring. Â
