The Lindenwood men's and women's tennis teams defeated William Jewell on Friday in Liberty, Mo. The men's team (4-1, 3-0 GLVC) won 6-1 over William Jewell, while the women's team (3-2, 2-1 GLVC) swept the Cardinals 7-0.
On the men's side,
Juan Albin had the most convincing wins, as he won is games by scores of 6-1 and 6-0, respectively.
Francisco Diaz (6-1, 6-1) and
Guillaume Teste (6-1, 6-2) also scored dominating wins over their coutnerparts.
On the women's side,
Paula Sostres dominated her opponent by scores of 6-1 and 6-0, respectively.
Fernanda Poblete and
Natalia Cordero teamed up for a 6-0 sweep in the only doubles match of the day for the women's team.
The tennis program will be back in action on Saturday to take on Newman in Wichita, Kan.
