Lindenwood shotgun sports won the High Overall Team and High Overall Individual awards at the 2020 Missouri Valley Fall Sporting Clay Shootout September 27 at Prairie Grove Shotgun Sports in Columbia, Missouri.

The Lions hit 460/500 to finish 42 targets ahead of Hannibal – Lagrange, the second place squad.  Michael Blazek earned the individual title with 95/100.  Sam Korbs and Reece Sparks each hit 92/100, Matthew Blankenship posted a score of 91, and Shabez Bassi and Ethan Blaettner each had a score of 90 to round out the team total for Lindenwood.

The event was hosted by Missouri Valley College and featured a high school and open shoot in addition to the collegiate contest.  

Shotgun sports travels to San Antonio, Texas for the NSSA Worlds September 29 through October 2 at the National Shooting Complex in San Antonio, Texas.
