Lindenwood track & field participated at the Washburn Open on Saturday in Topeka, Kan. on Saturday.
WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
- Tea Siehou competed in the 60 Dash, finishing 17th, with a time of 7.88.
- Tomi Bamigbade finished in 4th in the 60 Hurdles with a time of 9.08.
- Bamigbade, also competing in the 200 Dash, was 16th with a time of 26.04.
- Rosette Hoyte finished the 400 Dash in 13th place, completing it in 1:00.65.
- Najwa Chouati won the 1 Mile with a time of 5:09.27, which is fifth all-time in Lindenwood history.
- Rachael Morrison completed the 1 Mile in 5:19.42, good for 8th place, and set a new season-high.
MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
- Logan Kulinski participated in the Weight Throw on Friday, finishing 3rd with a distance of 17.35m.
- Jameel Walkes-Miller, taking part in the 60 Dash, came in 15th with a time of 6.98.
- Walkes-Miller finished the 200 in 6th place, with a time of 21.85. His performance moves him to tenth in program history for the 200.
- Armani Modeste also competed in the 200 Dash, coming in 10th, with a time of 22.04.
- Samuel Yaro won the 400 Dash with a Division II Provisional time of 47.75. It set a new career-best mark, and is second in the all-time performance list. Modeste finished the 400 Dash in 49.21, good for 9th place.
- Louis Moreau raced in the 1 Mile, finishing 2nd, with a time of 4:13.82. His time was good for eighth all-time in team history.
- The Lions' 4x400 Meter Relay team finished 1st with a time of 3:13.26. Damaine Dixon, Dorian Leda, Modeste, and Yaro combined to set an NCAA Provisional Mark and move to second on the all-time performance list.
