Shotgun sports won the Team High Overall Title as they hosted the Lindenwood Invitational September 25-26 at the Gateway Gun Club in Bridgeton, Missouri and the Nilo Farms Range in Brighton, Illinois. The Lions hit 1,433 out of 1,500 targets.
Senior Captain
Shabaz Bassi took home the Individual High Overall title for the event with a score of 286 out of 300. He was nearly perfect in the trap and skeet events and finished with a strong performance in Sporting Clays.

Matthew Blankenship (88), hit a total of 451/500 to win the team title. The score from Vohs was high enough to claim the individual Sporting Clays HOA title.

Trace Hatfield (98), combined for a score of 492/500 to place second in the team competition.
The Lindenwood Invitational featured Hillsdale College, Southern Illinois University – Edwardsville, and Drury University, along with the host Lions.
Shotgun sports travels to Diamond, Illinois October 3-5 for the Diamond Classic and then competes at the SCTP Collegiate Nationals October 8-10 at the Cardinal Shooting Center in Marengo, Ohio.
