Lindenwood track & field continued its indoor success this season, as the Lions competed at the Ichabod Invitational today.
WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
- Tea Siehou, competing in the 60 Meter Dash, finished 5th with a time of 7.73 and equaled her season-best showing.
- Nicole Barton earned 7th place with a height of 3.52m in the Pole Vault.
- Tomi Bamigbade competed in the 200 Meter Dash, coming in 10th with a time of 25.72.
- Rachael Morrison finished 10th in the 1 Mile with a time of 5:04.49. Morrison moves to No. 2 on the program's Top-10 list with the new personal-record.
- Najwa Chouati, racing in the 3000, came in 12th with a time of 10:16.39. It was the 2nd-best time of her career.
MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
- Dorian Leda, Damaine Dixon, Jameel Walkes-Miller, and Armani Modeste combined for a 1st-place finish in the 4x400 Meter Relay with a time of 3:13.72.
- Samuel Yaro, Modeste, and Dixon finished 2nd-4th, respectively, in the 400 Meter Dash. Yaro (47.94) and Modeste (48.23) earned DII Provisional times. Modest and Dixon are now No. 4 on Lindenwood's Top-10 list.
- Walkes-Miller secured a Division II Provisional time of 21.61 in the 200 Meter Dash as he finished 3rd. This showing puts Walkes-Miller at No. 8 on the team's Top-10 list.
- Jarom Alexander finished 3rd in the Long Jump with a distance of 7.00m.
- Logan Kulinski earned a Division II Provisional mark with his distance of 18.35m in the Weight Throw.
- Louis Moreau, fresh off of a GLVC Indoor Track Athlete of the Week nomination, finished the 3000 in a facility-record time of 8:18.45, coming in 7th. The placement puts him at No. 3 on the team's Top-10 list.
