Lindenwood track & field tuned up for the NCAA Division II Indoor Championships today at the TRXC Timing Opportunity Meet in Elsah, Ill.
WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
- Competing in the 1 Mile Run, Najwa Chouati set a school-record with a 1st-place finish in 5:03.67. Rachael Morrison was 2nd in the event with a finals time of 5:07.98.
- Tea Siehou finished 1st in the 60 Meter Dash with a time of 7.81. In the 200 Meter Dash, Siehou came in 2nd with a time of 26.01.
- Jessica Markel finished 2nd in the 400 Meter Dash with a time of 1:00.52.
MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
- Dorian Leda won the 60 Meter Dash with a time of 6.98.
- Competing in the 200 Meter Dash, Jameel Walkes-Miller finished 1st in 22.07.
- Samuel Yaro won the 400 Meter Dash with a finals time of 48.32.
- Logan Kulinski captured 1st-place in the Weight Throw with a distance of 18.86m on his attempt.
