Lindenwood track & field excelled at the Bearcat Open, Friday and Saturday, in Maryville, Mo.
WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
- Tomi Bamigbade, competing in the 60 Hurdles, notched 4th place with a time of 8.99. This puts her 8th in the program's all-time performer list.
- Bamigbade also competed in the 200 Dash, finishing 5th, with a time of 25.78.
- Competing in the 800, Rachael Morrison finished 9th with a time of 2:18.95. Morrison is now 4th all-time in program history with this effort.
- Najwa Chouati secured 3rd place in the 3000 with a time of 10:09.52. She moves into 2nd in all-time performances in team history.
- Emma Mays earned 11th in the High Jump (1.49m).
- Nicole Barton placed 5th in the Pole Vault with an NCAA Division II Provisional mark of 3.81m. This moves her into 2nd on Lindenwood's all-time Top-10 list.
MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
- Jameel Walkes-Miller earned 3rd in the 60 Dash with a time of 6.90.
- Walkes-Miller was the 1st place finisher in the 200 Dash with a time of 21.73. Armani Modeste came in 2nd with a time of 21.81. Damaine Dixon (10th) and Boris Charles (13th) rounded out the top-15 in the event for the Lions. Walkes-Miller moved into 9th in the program's all-time performer list, and Modeste moved into 10th.
- Modeste earned a Division II Provisional time in the 400 Dash (48.26), finishing 4th. Dixon finished 9th with a time of 49.44. Modeste moved into 4th all-time in team history, and Dixon put himself into 9th all-time.
- Louis Moreau finished the 1 Mile in a time of 4:08.10, good for 3rd place, and earning him a DII Provisional time. It also moved Moreau into 5th all-time in program history.
- Competing in the 3000, Edward Kipruto finished 8th with a time of 8:54.13.
- Jarom Alexander finished 2nd in the Long Jump with a distance of 6.71m.
- Logan Kulinski continued his success this season, finishing 2nd in the Weight Throw with a Division II Provisional mark of 18.24m.
