Lindenwood track & field opened up the outdoor portion of the season at the Miner Invitational in Rolla, Mo. on Saturday. Nicole Barton was one of three Lions to earn an NCAA Provisional Mark.

WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS

• Nicole Barton earned 1st place in the Pole Vault with an NCAA Provisional Mark of 3.80m, which set a new school-record.
• Ashley Shoemake finished in 1st in the Hammer Throw with a distance of 47.86m. She moved into ninth in the school's NCAA record list.
• Emma Mays secured 2nd in the High Jump with a height of 1.50m.
• Tomi Bamigbade finished 2nd in the 100 Meter Hurdles with a 14.85 finals time. Her time put her in eighth in the program's all-time NCAA record book.
• Rachael Morrison, competing in the 800 Meter, totaled a finals time of 2:19.33 en route to a 2nd place finish. Her finish etched her in the seventh spot in the program NCAA records.
• Tea Siehou (12.25) and Keely Gustafson (12.32) finished 2nd and 3rd in the 100 Meter Dash.
• Gustafson (2nd) and Siehou (3rd) competed in the 200 Meter Dash.
• Nadia Pulliam, Morrison, Courtney Reid, and Kirsten Huffman combined for a 2nd place finish in the 4x400 Meter Relay.
• The quad of Yuriko Harewood, Bamigbade, Gustafson, and Siehou recorded a time of 47.41 in the 4x100 Meter Relay. Emily Sampson, Gabby Russina, Abby Young, and Kelly Reese tallied a time of 51.43 in the event.
• Jessica Markel earned 3rd place in the 400 Meter Dash with a finals time of 1:00.53.
• Huffman and Reid finished 4th and 5th, respectively, in the 1500 Meter.

MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS

• Jacob Opdahl earned an NCAA Provisional Mark in the Javelin Throw with a distance of 63.88m, which was good for second in the team's NCAA record book.
• Logan Kulinski earned himself an NCAA Provisional Mark, in the Hammer Throw, after reaching a distance of 54.87m which also put him in 1st in the event. Kulinski moved into fourth place in program NCAA history with his effort in the event.
• Timothy Maxwell earned 2nd place in the 1500 Meter with a time of 4:14.68.
• Edward Kipruto recorded a 2nd place time of 16:14.79 in the 5000 Meter.
• Jameel Walkes-Miller notched a 3rd place finish in the 100 Meter Dash.
• Jarom Alexander, competing in the Long Jump, came in 3rd with a distance of 7.11m.
• Austin Blakeslee tallied a 3rd place finish in the Pole Vault with a height of 4.55m.
• Carsen Christensen finished 3rd in the Shot Put with a distance of 14.47m.
