Lindenwood track & field returned home to compete at the Dick Cochran Classic on Friday and Saturday.
WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
- Nicole Barton finished 1st in the Pole Vault with a mark of 3.65.
- Ashley Shoemake and Halo Kanengiser finished 1st and 2nd, respectively, in the Hammer. Shoemake moved into eighth in the program's all-time NCAA list.
- Najwa Chouati finished the 3000 with a time of 11:07.32, good for 1st place, and set a new school NCAA-record.
- The 4x100 A team finished 1st with a time of 47.47.
- Rachael Morrison finished 1st in the 1500 with a time of 4:41.76.
- Tomi Bamigbade raced in the 100 M.H., finishing 1st, with a mark of 15.39. She also finished 1st in the 200 M.D. with a time of 25.73.
- Keely Gustafson and Tea Siehou finished the 100 M.D. in 1st and 2nd, respectively.
- Rosette Hoyte earned 1st in the 400 M.D., while Jessica Markel finished in 3rd.
- The team's 4x400 squad also earned 1st place with a 3:56.94 time.
MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
- Armani Modeste raced to 1st in the 200 M.D., finishing in 21.80.
- Jacob Opdahl continued his reign of dominance in the Javelin with a 1st place throw of 59.38.
- The 4x100 A squad earned 1st with a time of 42.28.
- Ju'Qui Womack notched a mark of 1.80 in the High Jump, good for 3rd place. He also secured 3rd in the T.J. with a mark of 13.40.
- Jarom Alexander earned 3rd in the Long Jump with a mark of 6.77.
- Logan Kulinski finished 3rd in the Hammer with a toss of 56.87.
- Edward Kipruto slotted himself in 10th all-time in the team's NCAA record book in the 10,000.
