Lindenwood track & field continued the outdoor slate of its schedule, competing at the SBU Bearcat Invitational today.
WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
- Lexi Hafford, competing in the Heptathlon, finished 10th. Hafford moved into 6th in the Lindenwood NCAA-era record book with her showing.
- Rachael Morrison moved into 3rd in the team's NCAA record books with her performance in the 1500m.
- Tea Siehou finished in 2nd in the 100 Meter Dash, while teammate Keely Gustafson earned 4th.
- Rosette Hoyte, Tomi Bamigbade, Gustafson, and Siehou finished 4th in the 4x100 with a time of 48.77.
- Kirsten Huffman earned 4th in the 3000m with a time of 11:04.51.
MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
- Jameel Walkes-Miller set NCAA Division II Provisional Marks in the 100m and 200m, with his 200m time moving him into 9th on the Lindenwood NCAA Top-10 list. Walkes-Miller finished 1st in the 100 and the 200 Meter Dash.
- Jacob Opdahl set an NCAA Division II Provisional Mark in the Javelin, with a finals distance of 61.89m.
- Louis Moreau competed in the 1500m, and earn himself the 6th spot on the program's Top-10.
- Edward Kipruto earned 7th on the program's Top-10 list with his showing in the 3000m.
- Gage Rowland finished 13th in the Decathlon with a total score of 2,918, which placed him 6th in the program's NCAA records.
- Alex Norzagaray also placed in the program's Top-10 in the Decathlon, after amassing a score of 2,861, which puts him in 8th in school history.
