Shotgun sports earned five, top-three finishes at the Nationals Stretch-out competition October 9 at the Defender Clay Sports Ranch in Fort Worth, Texas.
Junior
Ryan Pena won the A Class championship on the Ranch Course with a score of 93. Sophomore sporting clays captain
Konnor Vohs finished as the overall runner-up on the Cowtown Course with a near perfect 98/100. Junior
Trace Hatfield was right behind in third place with a score of 96, and Grace Corselli finished as AA runner-up, tying Hatfield with 96.

Klayton McGee finished as runner-up in D Class with 88.
The Defender Outdoor Clay Sports Ranch is owned by Lindenwood alum
Travis Mears. The Lions supported the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo Scholarship Shoot on Friday and Saturday and then actually competed in the registered NSCA event on Sunday.
