The Lindenwood women's wrestling team flourished on Sunday, going undefeated at the Lion Duals in St. Charles, Mo.
Overview
The one-day dual format featured various teams across the Midwest. The tournament was broken into six rounds, with each team facing the other once. The Lions went 6-0 on the day against opponents scoring a total of 314 points to their opponent's 36 points.
The Lions had a flurry of terrific performances, as several wrestlers went undefeated in competition.
Top Performances
-Sophomore
Cayden Condit went 6-0 on the day at 123 pounds, winning two matches by technical fall, three by fall, and one by decision. The highlight for the Colorado native was winning by pin in 0:31 against Eureka College in her fifth match.
-Sophomore
Kelly Escamilla went 6-0 in the 143-pound weight class, winning by technical fall in the first match, winning by fall in the last four of five matches, and winning one by forfeit.

Sierra Hall went 5-0 on the day at 170 pounds, winning the first match by forfeit and capping off the last four matches by winning by fall.
-Junior
Maya Porter went 3-0 on the day in the 130-pound division, taking two wins by fall and one win by technical fall.

Khaila Hughes went 2-0 at 155 pounds, winning the first match by fall at the 2:23 mark and the last match by fall at the 2:01 mark.
-Sophomore
Sara Lake went 2-0, winning both matches by fall. In the first match, Lake pinned her opponent at 3:41, and in the last match at 0:36.
