The Lions took an early lead in the match when Sydney Julich darted into the zone from 40-meters, but several penalties stifled Lindenwood in the following moments until Jayleen Rivera broke free off a turnover in the Lions half of the field. Flanker Charlotte Roberts followed with a line-break, and then a penalty try gave Lindenwood a 22-5 lead at the break.

The Lions did concede a couple of tries in the second half, but scores from Ava Denner, Jenna Nielsen, Kamryn Tabor, Julich, and Makena Taumoepeau sealed the victory.

Prior to the game, women's rugby celebrated Senior Day, honoring Sydney Julich, Aliya Mataafa, Christina Norsten, Helen van Hattem, Siniva Mailo, and Emily Morris.

The Lions hit the road for a D1 Elite match against Life University November 12. The opening kickoff is set for 1 p.m. at Lupo Family Field in Marietta, Georgia.
