Men's Track & Field (Discontinued)

Lindenwood Shines at Wash U Invitational

The Lindenwood men's and women's track and field squads competed at the Wash U Distance Carnival, as well as the Wash U Invitational in St. Louis, Mo. this weekend.  The men's side took second on Saturday, while the women's finished in third place.

OVERVIEW
The men's team found great success in the relay races, winning both the 4x100 and the 4x400.  Dorian Leda and Damaine Dixon were on both relay teams, while Dixon added a first-place finish in the 400 meter hurdles.  Lindenwood claimed the top-four spots in the 400 meter hurdle with Dixon leading the way with his time of 53.16.  Leda took second place in the 200 meter run, as Jameel Walkes-Miller finished in fourth.

Logan Kulinski won the hammer throw by a significant margin, as his tally of 56.07 meters was nearly five meters ahead of the next best throw.  Ju'Qui Womack (triple jump) and Maxime Touron (1500 meter) each took second place in their respective events.

The women were near the top in multiple events from more than a handful of Lions.  Tea Siehou earned a first-place finish in the 100 meter, while Olivia Alexandre took first in the 400 meter hurdles.  The two were part of the 4x100 relay team that took second, as Alexandre also helped the Lions to a second-place finish in the 4x400 relay.  Ashley Shoemake (49.92) and Halo Kanengiser (44.51) took first and second place, respectively, in the hammer throw.
