On Saturday, the men's and women's track and field teams traveled to Southern Illinois at Edwardsville, to compete in the Cougar Classic. Both respective teams had individuals break personal records and had a multiplicity of individuals place top five in their respective event.
 
Top Women's Performances
Discus – Kimberli Lugg (47.78 m), placed first
Javelin – Kendall Klewer (39.60 m), placed third

Top Men's Performances
800 Meter – Brody Hudson (1:58.76), placed fourth
1500 Meter – Maxime Touron (4:01.47), placed second
3000 Meter Steeplechase – Brady Mello (10:16.37), placed fourth
Triple Jump – Miraji Ahmed (13.84 m), placed fourth
