On Sunday was the final day of competition at the OVC Outdoor Championships. The Lindenwood track and field teams placed fifth on the men's side and seventh on the women's side. The Lions had multiple winners and several individuals place in their respective events, as well as individuals setting new personal records and school records. The Lions also placed third in women's 4x400 relay race.  Below are some of the notable performances from the OVC Championships.

Top Women's Performances
Discus – Kimberly Lugg (49.21m), placed first
Hammer – Ashley Shoemake (53.68m), placed third
400m – Gabby Russina (54.54), placed second, set new personal record and school record
400m Hurdles – Martina Martinez (1:01.14), placed second

Top Men's Performances
Decathlon – Jake Casey (6344 Points), placed second
Javelin – William Stemler (55.71m), placed third
110m Hurdles – Biel Salas (14.18), placed first
