Women's lacrosse is set to host Kent State on Friday, March 1 at 6:00 PM CST.  

LAST TIME OUT
The Lions took on California and UC Davis in their last two matchups. The Lions were victorious over the Golden Bears, winning 8-7 after coming from behind two goals. In the second matchup of the weekend, the Lions fell to the UC Davis Aggies, 13-12. Logann Eldredge led the Lions in points on the weekend with nine.

MATCHUP PREVIEW
The Black and Gold are currently 4-1 on the year, averaging 14 goals per game, 8 goals against, and are clearing the ball at 85.4%. Eldredge leads the Lions in points with 28 and goals with 21. Sara Grieco leads the Lions in assists with 9. On the defensive side of the ball, Mandy Beck leads the Lions in groundballs with 14, and caused turnovers with 6. Ryleigh Cavanaugh is averaging 6.2 draw controls per game. Haylie Sims has started four out of five games in net for the Lions, making 35 saves on 36 goals against.

This will be the second time in program history Lindenwood will take on Kent State. In the last matchup (March 19, 2023), the Lions won 18-13.

Kent State is currently 1-3 on the year, losing to the University of Delaware 18-4 in their last matchup. The Golden Flashes are averaging 8.75 goals per game and 15 goals against, while clearing the ball at 86%. The Golden Flashes are led by Jackie Wolford and Zayda Crumpton who both have 12 points. Taylor Monturo has made four appearances in net, making 23 stops on 35 goals against.
