COLUMBIA, MO. – On Friday, women's track and field traveled to the University of Missouri to compete at the Show-Me Showdown. The Lions showed out, having individuals placing top three in four events. The Lions also saw a multiplicity of new personal bests and season bests.
HIGHLIGHTS
60 Meter –
Chanel Honeywell (7.68) placed third, breaking her previous best.
60 Meter Hurdles –
Kinsey Dueker (9.25), placed fifth.
200 Meter –
Sa'Nijah Houston (24.74) placed third, setting a new personal best.
Chanel Honeywell would (25.00) place fifth and would also set a new personal best.
400 Meter –
Sa'Nijah Houston (56.69) placed first, setting a new personal record.
Long Jump –
Christelle Barafundi (5.57m) placed third, setting a new personal high.
Mile Run –
Jenna Ramadan (6:01.93) set a new personal best.
3000 Meter –
Maria Parisi (12:45.37) set a new personal best.
