BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – The Ohio Valley Conference announced its 2025 Women's Soccer All-OVC Teams on Wednesday afternoon, with Lindenwood accumulating five total selections.
Mackenzie Compton was named second-team all-conference as a forward. Compton led the Lions in scoring during conference play with seven points on three goals and two assists. She has created dangerous chances all season long, pacing LU in total shots (55) and shots on goal (15).
Meanwhile,
Rachel Jackson and
Tasneem Dizdarevic were both tabbed as second-team midfielders.
Jackson has been a steady presence in the center of the Lions' lineup, helping to slow opposing offenses with her high work rate and physicality while also stepping into the attack with four points on one goal and two assists.
Dizdarevic has been a constant threat to come forward offensively, finishing the regular season with six points on two goals and two assists while logging a total of 28 shots and 12 shots on goal. Her .429 shot on goal percentage is tied for the team lead among players with at least 20 attempts.
Rounding out Lindenwood's second-team selections was defender
Allison Schrumpf. The junior has helped anchor a Lindenwood defense that allowed just 16 goals all season for a goals against average of 0.94 while leading all Lions outfielders with 1,470 minutes played. She is also tied for second on the squad with seven points on three goals and an assist.
Defender
Alysse Lamb was named to the All-Newcomer Team. The freshman started all 17 games and played a total of 1,425 minutes on a Lindenwood backline that finished the regular season as the second best scoring defense in the OVC. Â
Next up for Lindenwood is the OVC Tournament quarterfinal on Sunday, November 2nd at 1:00 p.m. The No. 3 seed Lions will host the winner of No. 6 seed UT Martin and No. 7 seed SIUE.
