INDANOLA, Iowa – The Lindenwood women's wrestling team competed at the Luther Hill Invitational hosted by Simpson College on Saturday. The Lions placed nine in the event, with five LU wrestlers taking top three finishes.

Freshman Jacinda Espinosa finished first in the 138 lb. weight class, defeating Nebraska's Regan Galloway in the championship round to take Lindenwood's first goal of the season.

Four Lions earned bronze medals at the event, including Grace Alagbo (160 lbs.), Madeline Haynes (145 lbs.), Makayla Rivera (180 lbs.), and Saki Yoshikawa (124 lbs.).
