INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Lindenwood women's track and field finished in third at the 2025 Ohio Valley Conference Indoor Track & Field Championship in Indianapolis, Ind. After entering the day in a tie for ninth place, the Lions stormed into third place at the conclusion of the meet on Wednesday.
The SEMO Redhawks scored 163 points while Little Rock finished second with 128.5 points. Lindenwood finished third with 66 points, ahead of Southern Indiana (60), Eastern Illinois (55.5), Tennessee Tech (43), Tennessee State (39), SIUE (38), UT Martin (35), Western Illinois (19) and Morehead State (16).
Lindenwood finished the meet with three individual champions in their respective events.
Sa'Nijah Houston registered two first-place finishes in the 200 meter and 400 meter with times of 24.15 and 54.77. Her 200 meter time set a new personal best and ranks second all-time at Lindenwood. Houston's 400 meter time also ranks second at Lindenwood.
Chanel Honeywell also was an individual champion in the 60 meter with a time of 7.61. Although her final time won her the gold, Honeywell posted a personal-best time of 7.53 in the preliminaries which ranks second all-time in program history. Honeywell also posted a time of 24.19 in the 200 which ranks fourth at LU.
Kinsey Dueker set the Lindenwood program record in the Pentathlon with a score of 3437. Dueker set person bests in the 60 meter hurdles (8.90), high jump (1.62 meters) and shot put (10.71 meters). Her score landed Dueker a bronze finish at the podium.
