INDIANAPOLIS, IND. – On Saturday, track and field competed at the Fairgrounds Invitational. The Lions saw some quality finishes, new personal records, new season bests, and top-ten program finishes.
 
NOTABLE PERFORMANCES
60 Meter – Chanel Honeywell placed seventh (7.70). Honeywell also posted a 7.67 60-meter time in the qualifying round, adding her name to the Lindenwood record book in the respected event.

200 Meter – Sa'Nijah Houston placed second (24.52), cementing another top-ten finish in program history. Chanel Honeywell placed fourth (24.66), adding a top-ten finish in program history to her resume.

Shot Put – Aliyah Robertson placed second (12.94m), adding another top-ten finish in program history.
 
NEW PERSONAL RECORDS
60 Meter – Chanel Honeywell (7.67), and Dania Creary (8.09).
200 Meter – Chanel Honeywell (24.66), Kristen Hendricks (26.19), and Nyah Hope (26.45).
400 Meter – Nyah Hope (59.15).
800 Meter – Gabriella Evangelista De la Rosa (2:36.37).
