FIRST SERVE
The Lindenwood beach volleyball team travels back to southwestern Missouri this weekend to take part in the Beach Bear Bash hosted by Missouri State. Match one for the Lions is scheduled for Friday at 11:00 a.m. against Eastern Kentucky.

LAST TIME OUT
Lindenwood went 3-1 at the Missouri State Tournament last weekend. The Lions opened the season with a 5-0 win over EIU on Friday before falling 4-1 against Missouri State that afternoon. They responded with a 4-1 win over Central Arkansas for the program's first win over the bears before concluding the weekend with a dominant 5-0 win over McKendree.

PAIR OF THE WEEK
Nyah Wilson and Susanna Beretti were named Ohio Valley Conference Pair of the Week following their performance last weekend. The duo went 3-0 as the No. 2 pair with a 2-1 win against Missouri State (11-21, 21-14, 15-12) and straight set wins against Central Arkansas (21-18, 21-11) and McKendree (21-11, 21-13).

SERIES HISTORY
Friday will be Lindenwood's first all-time matchup against Eastern Kentucky. The Lions are 0-6 against Missouri State, with Nyah Wilson and Susanna Beretti earning LU's first ever point against the Bears last week. They are 1-4 versus Central Arkansas, picking up their first win over UCA last weekend. Lindenwood is 4-0 versus Southwest Baptist, sweeping the Bearcats twice last season.
