ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – The Lindenwood beach volleyball team (10-4, 1-0 OVC) dropped both of their matches at the Battle on the Bay on Saturday, falling 3-2 against Eckerd and Palm Beach Atlantic.

Lindenwood 2, Eckerd 3
Lindenwood dropped Saturday morning's contest against Eckerd by a score of 3-2, bringing their four-match unbeaten streak to an end. The Lions took the No. 3 and 4 pairs 2-1 but came up just short with a three-set loss in the twos.

The Lions also suffered a 3-2 defeat against Palm Beach Atlantic. Lindenwood took the one and two pairs, with Nyah Wilson and Susannah Beretti winning 2-1 at the ones while Abby Jacobs and Annalie McWhorter picking up a straight set win at the twos.
