On Monday, the Atlantic Sun announced its women's lacrosse weekly awards which featured Brynn Delaney and Luci Selander of the Lindenwood lacrosse team. Delaney was tabbed as the Defensive Player of the Week, while Selander earned offensive honors.

Delaney was dominant in the draw circle, compiling 26 draw controls in a pair of wins last week over Butler and Detroit Mercy, respectively. The Leawood, Kan. native had a career-high 17 against the Titans, helping Lindenwood to a 20-5 edge in that category. Delaney currently ranks fourth in the ASUN in draw controls per game with six.

Selander compiled 11 total points in both games last week, coming from five goals and six assists. She dished out four helpers at Butler and came back with three goals against Detroit Mercy last Saturday. Selander leads the team in goals (18), assists (15), and points (33). The senior attack ranks top five in the ASUN in goals per game, assists per game, and points per game.

Delaney, Selander and the rest of the Lions will be back in action on Wednesday, taking on the University of New Hampshire at 11:00 a.m. CT in Durham, N.H.
