FIRST SERVE
The Lindenwood beach volleyball team treks to Morehead, Kentucky this weekend for the second OVC Weekend of 2026 and their final regular season matches of the year. The Lions enter this weekend in second place in the conference standings.

OVC WEEKEND 1 RECAP
Lindenwood went 3-1 at OVC Weekend no. 1 in Chattanooga back in March. The Lions split their two matches on day one with a 4-1 loss against UTC before defeating Tennessee Tech 4-1. LU went 2-0 on day two with wins over Morehead State (4-1) and UT Martin (4-1). Gabby Belcher and Aubrey Sheppard went undefeated as a pair during the event, becoming the first Lindenwood duo to ever post a 4-0 record during an OVC Weekend.

CONFERENCE STANDINGS
Entering this weekend, the Lions are second place in the OVC with a record of 5-1. They trail only Chattanooga with a 6-0 record. Lindenwood has a two-game lead on UT Martin and Morehead State who are tied for third with records of 3-3. EIU (1-5) and Tennessee Tech (0-6) round out the standings.

HISTORIC START
The Lion's 5-1 OVC record is their best through six conference games in the program's four-year history. Lindenwood is 15-5 overall and became the quickest LU team to reach 10 wins earlier this season.

MILESTONE TRACKER
Katie Bockhorst became the first Lindenwood beach volleyball player to reach 50 career wins earlier this season. Nyah Wilson is currently four wins away from reaching the same milestone. She secured her 14^th win of the season against McKendree on Saturday to set a new career high.

PAIRS OF THE WEEK
Three different Lindenwood duos have been named OVC Pair of the Week this season, including Nyah Wilson & Susannah Beretti, Abby Jacobs & Annalie McWhorter, and Katie Bockhorst and Lexie Schauffler. The Lions lead the conference in Pair of the Week awards won.

LAST TIME OUT
Lindenwood won their final non-conference match of the regular season 5-0 over McKendree on Saturday. With the win, the Lions completed a three-match season sweep of the Bearcats, taking each contest by scores of 5-0. Lindenwood secured all five points of Saturday's match in straight sets.
