MOREHEAD, Ky. – The Lindenwood beach volleyball team (17-7, 7-3 OVC) closed the regular season with a split on the second day of OVC Weekend no. 2 on Saturday. The Lions swept Morehead State before falling just short against UT Martin.

Lindenwood 3, Morehead State 0
Lindenwood opened the final day of regular season play with a 3-0 win over Morehead State on Saturday morning. It was the Lions' 17th victory of the season, surpassing their previous program record of 16 wins.

No. 3 pair Aubrey Sheppard and Gabby Belcher secured the match clinching point in straight sets after prevailing 26-24 in a lengthy second frame. Sheppard moved her 2026 record to 17-6 to set a new personal best for wins in a season, joining Belcher who surpassed her previous career high of 15 wins on Friday.

Lindenwood 2, UT Martin 3
The Lions fell in a hard-fought regular season finale against UT Martin that needed to go the distance. With the loss, LU split the regular season series against the Skyhawks.

Aubrey Sheppard and Gabby Belcher picked up another straight set win at the threes to move into the team lead for most wins as a pair this season (16).
