sBRENTWOOD, Tenn. – The Ohio Valley Conference announced the 2026 Beach Volleyball All-OVC Teams on Wednesday morning, with a program-record six Lindenwood Lions garnering All-Conference recognition.
Nyah Wilson,
Susanna Beretti, and
Gabby Belcher were named to the First Team, while
Abby Jacobs,
Annalie McWhorter, and
Aubrey Sheppard landed on the Second Team.
Nyah Wilson finished the regular season with a 15-6 overall record to earn the second First Team, and third overall, All-OVC selection of her career. She finished tied for fourth on the team in wins as she set a new career-high for wins in a season.
Susanna Beretti, who joined the team as a transfer this semester, finished tied for second on the team in wins overall with a record of 17-6 in her first season at Lindenwood. She and Wilson posted a 10-6 record together at the ones.
Gabby Belcher went 18-6 on the season, finishing tied for the team lead in wins. She was a part of seven consecutive wins at the threes between March 27
th and April 17
th, which was the longest win streak for any Lindenwood pair during the season.
Joining her on the All-Conference team as a second team selection is
Aubrey Sheppard, who also recorded 18 wins overall and posted a 15-5 record at the no. 3 position alongside Belcher. Together, the duo led Lindenwood with nine wins in conference play.Â
Also placed on the second team are
Abby Jacobs and
Annalie McWhorter, who posted a 15-6 record as a pair this season, including a 6-1 record at the ones and 9-5 record at the twos.
McWhorter finished tied for second on the team in wins with an overall record of 17-6, while Jacobs completed the regular season with 15-6 record.
As a team, Lindenwood set a new program record for overall wins with a mark of 17-7, including a program-high seven wins in conference play.
The Lions will play as the No. 2 seed at this week's 2026 OVC Beach Volleyball Championship, as they await the winner of No. 3 UT Martin and No. 6 Tennessee Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 23
rd.
