The Lady Lions skated to a bronze medal in the Open Collegiate division at the 2015 U.S. Figure Skating Midwestern Sectional Championships January 31 at the Braemar Arena in Edina, Minn.

Lindenwood had a fall early in its program, but skated the rest of it well from a technical standpoint, and maintained a high performance level.  Team North Dakota, comprised of skaters from multiple colleges in North Dakota, earned the gold medal while Miami University finished second.  The University of Minnesota – Duluth was fourth, Northwestern University fifth, and Ohio University sixth.

The Lady Lions will stay close to home for the 2015 ISI Winter Classic February 15 at the St. Peters Rec-Plex in St. Peters, Mo.
