Lindenwood women's golf finished among the top quarter of teams at the Missouri-St. Louis Triton Invitational on Monday and Tuesday.
The Lady Lions were fifth overall in the 20-team field after shooting rounds of 320 and 318. The host school won the event with a 629 and Lindenwood was within six strokes of second-place.
Marcella Ax and
Claudia Rojas both broke 80 during the two rounds of the tournament. Ax finished tied for fourth with a 153 after rounds of 77 and 76. Rojas tied for ninth with a 155 after shooting 78 and 77.
Emily Tebow tied for 34th with a 164 and
Grace Weber tied for 37th two shots behind. Rounding out the lineup was
Justine Decock who shot a 174.
