Lindenwood women's golf finished fifth out of 11 teams on Monday at the Screaming Eagles Golf Classic, a tournament consisting mostly of NCAA Division II programs.

Sunday, the Lady Lions shot a 340 during round one and were in seventh-place. Monday, the team knocked 19 shots off of their round one score and leaped two teams to fifth-place with a two-day total of 661.

Marcella Ax led Lindenwood after shooting two rounds under 80 with a 78 and 76. She placed fifth overall with a 154. Claudia Rojas had the best round of the event for the Lady Lions with a 75 on Monday. She finished tied for ninth with a 156.

Emily Tebow, Grace Weber, and Justine Decock all improved their second day scores by shooting identical 85s. Tebow finished with a 174, Grace Weber shot 177 for the tournament and Justine Decock had a 181.
