The Lindenwood women's golf team concluded its fall season on Tuesday at the NAIA Women's Preview competition. The Lady Lions tied for seventh at the event after shooting a 631 for the two rounds of action.
Lindenwood opened the tournament with a 317 during a round in which three golfers broke 80. Only two golfers broke 80 during the second round but Lindenwood still improved by three shots after a better round from its No. 4 golfer. The Lady Lions tied with Cumberlands, and finished just eight shots out of fifth place. Shorter won the event with a team score of 612.
Marcella Ax was in the race for the individual title and ended up tied for second. She was fourth after an opening round of three-over 75, and then shot a two-over 74 during round two. Ax finished two shots behind the medalist.
Julieta Rotzinger tied for 20th after shooting two rounds under 80 and finishing with a 157.
Abigail Beirne finished with a 160,
Mallory Gentry had a 168, and
Kasey McCammack concluded with a 177.
