The No. 18 Lindenwood women's golf team struggled in its first tournament of the spring, finishing last in the eight-team Southern Nazarene Arizona Intercollegiate. The Lady Lions shot rounds of 350 and 348 at the tournament which included four teams ranked in the top 15 in the NAIA national poll.
Freshman
Emily Tebow led Lindenwood for the first time in her career. She shot rounds of 81 and 80 for a 161, which placed her tied for 20th in the overall standings.
Claudia Rojas tied for 26th with a 161, including an opening round of 79 which was the best for Lindenwood at the tournament.
Grace Weber was 39th with a 183, and
Katrina Walker was 41st with a 189. The Lady Lions were playing with a handicap at the event as they had just four golfers tee off.
