The Lindenwood women's golf team finished runner-up on Tuesday at the Christian Brothers Spring Invitational.

The Lady Lions shot rounds of 333 and 328 at the competition and finished 11 shots behind the tournament champions, Cumberland. Lindenwood finished over 40 shots ahead of the rest of the field which included Hannibal-LaGrange, Christian Brothers, and Hendrix.

Julieta Rotzinger was second in the individual standings. She shot a 160 with rounds of 81 and 79. Rotzinger was ten shots behind the medalist Lorena Alvarez of Hannibal-LaGrange. Also in the top-five were Megan Burgress and Marcella Ax. Burgress shot a 161 and Ax carded a 162. Burgress had a top round of 80, and Ax had a best 18-hole score of 79.

Other Lindenwood scores were Abigail Beirne with a 178, Kasey McCammack with a 186, and Sarah Fraser with a 199.

Lindenwood will be in action again on April 2-3 at the Park Invitational in Parkville, Mo.
